Needles: 3.5mm (or size required to meet gauge) circular needles (circular needles are recommended due to the number of stitches on the needle; cardigan is worked flat); DPNs or longer circular needles suitable for magic loop in the same size as main needles

Notions: 4 matching stitch markers and 1 additional different stitch marker (referred to as ‘special m’ throughout); scrap yarn or 2 x stitch holders; darning needle
