Neaten Up Your Bind-Off in the Round

This tutorial shows you a way to neaten up the ‘jog’ that appears between the start and end of a knitted bind-off done in the round. It’s a very simple trick that I’m sure you’ll come to use all the time! Please let me know if there’s anything you’d like clarification on.

I have been a knitter for as long as I can remember. As a child, I used to make endless scarves because I didn’t truly understand what I was doing with the needles in my hand. As I grew older, I eventually came to realise what I was doing with my yarn, and I started to knit garments; sweaters, shawls, beautiful lacy patterns, colourwork… You name it, I tried it.

But I knew there had to be more. I wanted to be the creative source behind my knitwear pieces; I wanted to come up with the patterns that others could knit and treasure forever.

From this desire, my true passion was born. I wasn’t meant to sit in an office or a classroom. I was meant to create. I was meant to design. So I have taken the plunge and started on this amazing journey.

Following designing, came spinning, then dyeing. I am so excited to be able to share my creations with you. I hope you enjoy working with them just as much I enjoy making them!
